Mr. Salter – Principal
- If you come as a spectator to any athletics or activity event at Galena, please do not bring a personal cooler with refreshments. We understand if you are supplying refreshments to the teams, and we also appreciate and rely onyou patronizing the team-run snack facilities.
- WCSD Trustee Christine Hull will be visiting Galena on Monday to tour the school.
- The Galena Outdoor program visits Spooner Lake State Park on 9/17/2025 to learn about Forestry Management and State Park Facility Management.
- Six of our Galena Grizzly Seniors earned recognition as National Merit Semi-Finalists this year! Tune in next week and we will recognize those six Grizzlies for their amazing accomplishment.

The WCSD Internship Application Window is Now Open!
Students can now apply for internships in a variety of exciting fields, including:
- Engineering
- Medical
- KUNR Youth Media
- School Police Cadets
- City Government
- Public Broadcasting
- NEW: Girls on the Run
- Create your own Internship by finding a business who will host.
Internships are a fantastic way to gain hands-on experience in a career field that interests you — and they look great on college and job applications!
